Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown feels he is already among the best wide receivers in the National Football League. He is the steal of the 2021 NFL Draft. A fourth round selection out of USC.
St. Brown is coming off a week 2 performance of nine receptions for 116 yards and added two rushing attempts for 68 yards.
Brown is a example that not all football players can be simply measured by what statistical numbers they put up in a workout or in a 40-yard dash. He has been able to secure eight or more receptions and a touchdown in six consecutive games, an NFL record.
St. Brown’s teammates marvel at how hard he works and how smart that he is. An underrated aspect of St. Brown’s game is his speed. He doesn’t blow you away on the 40 yard dash. Numbers and measurables, doesn’t determine whether you can play or not.
