Mexico vs Algeria Live Stream: Azerbaijan could not build on their win over Cyprus in their last outing in the UEFA Nations League as they fell to defeat against Montenegro on Saturday. They will now take on Cyprus once again, hoping for a repeat of their last clash and they should be confident of doing so owing to the away side’s poor form.

The Cypriots have lost all three of their UNL games so far, making it seven defeats in a row for them. They have scored just once in their last four which makes this a difficult task for them and that can ensure Azerbaijan earn at least a point from a clash that should produce under 2.5 goals.

Cyprus find themselves pointless at the mid-way point of this group after a 2-0 defeat in Luxembourg on Saturday afternoon. At the same time, Azerbaijan were also losing 2-0 away from home, going down 2-0 in Podgorica to Montenegro. They only have three points on the board that they picked up in the reverse fixture in Nicosia last month. Maksim Medvedev scoring the only goal in that one.

In the inaugural UEFA Nations League Azerbaijan were promoted from League D despite only winning two of their six matches. Overall, they’ve only won eight of their last 48 competitive outings, three of those victories though have come in this competition. Cyprus meanwhile remained in League C, winning just once in six two years ago. They’re currently enduring a streak of six defeats in a row.

In UEFA Nations League C, the group winners are promoted to to League B while the teams who finish bottom will face a relegation play-out to avoid dropping down to League D. It’s those play-outs these two sides are currently trying to avoid.
