Now what everyone is wondering was Alex Murdaugh found guilty?
Five jurors have had to be replaced during the six-week trial, leaving the jury with just one alternate.
The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office is seeking life in prison if Murdaugh, 54, is convicted in the killings of his wife, 52-year-old Maggie Murdaugh, and son Paul Murdaugh.
Murdaugh told police he didn’t go with his wife and son to the dog kennels where they died. But in court, witnesses identified Murdaugh’s voice in a video taken by Paul at the kennel around 8:45 p.m. – minutes before investigators say the shooting started.
“I lied about being down there. And I’m so sorry that I did,” he said.
What else has he lied about? Talk about this all being crazy – he has already been caught lying. What is next?
Was he found guilty? We will have to wait and see.
