A Christmas Story is a holiday classic. Every year, millions around the globe watch the 1983 Bob Clark film to see a major reward, deranged Easter Bunny and Flick get his tongue stuck to a stupid pole. TBS every Christmas since 1997 has played it for 24 hours on a loop. This Christmas, they’ve added to the tradition as Turner Media’s latest baby All Elite Wrestling on TNT has received a huge role in the yearly tradition.
AEW superstars will spoof scenes that air throughout the marathon to raise awareness for charity. The roles are as followed: Maxwell Jacob Friedman (Ralphie), Ortiz of the Inner Circle (Flick), Scorpio Sky (Randy), Chris Jericho (Santa), Head Elf (Frankie Kazarian), Mr. and Mrs. Parker (Cody and Brandi Rhodes), Schwartz (Eddie Kingston), Farkus (Ricky Starks), Dill (Allie), Miss Shields (Dr. Britt Baker) and Freight Man (Luchasaurus).
This is huge advertising for All Elite Wrestling and will allow talents to show off their personality in front of a wider audience on what is usually TBS biggest day of the year. Turner Media continues to have an enormous amount of faith in AEW to deliver (which they more than have so far) and this also gives AEW a chance to raise more awareness of KultureCity’s charity.
