Guess who is back in the NFL?
Less than 24 hours after Derrick Henry suffered a foot injury in the Tennessee Titans win over the Indianapolis Colts, the Titans are signing future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson.
Peterson will be added initially to the practice squad with the intentions of being elevated to the main roster as soon as he is in game shape.
Peterson played in all 16 games for the Detroit Lions last season, amassing for 604 yards and seven touchdowns. The Titans will be Peterson’s sixth NFL team, as he spent the first 10 with the Minnesota Vikings. Peterson also played for the Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints.
