AD Trolls Pelicans with “That’s All, Folks” T-shirt

NBA Superstar Anthony Davis may be 26-years-old, but apparently, he doesn’t dress himself. At least that’s what he wants us to believe.

The awkward ending between AD and the Pelicans continued Tuesday, in what’s expected to be the final home game of his career in New Orleans.

AD showed up to the Smoothie King Center wearing a “That’s All, Folks” t-shirt.

When questioned about his t-shirt, he told Fletcher Mackel of WDSU that he didn’t choose the shirt he wore. “I actually didn’t choose it. It was hanging for me already when I put my clothes on, so …”

He also told Mackel he was a big Looney Tunes fan. Yep, just a big old coinkydink. Nothing to see here.

So yeah, that’s a thing, apparently. Maybe that’s what really rich people do, I don’t know. Even AD couldn’t contain from grinning as he said it.

AD requested a trade in January, and the Los Angeles Lakers tried but failed to negotiate a trade before the deadline to acquire him. He hasn’t played a game for the Pelicans since February 25th.
