Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father and trainer of UFC lightweight champion Khabib, is reported to be in a coma in a military hospital in Moscow, according to multiple reports and RT.com.
Intially he was hospitalized with pnemonia, but he was recently airlifted to Moscow, Alone (remember covid-19?), in critical condition. Apparently, this all stemmed from heart problems in Late April and complications have further arose.
This was the only solid, translatable quote from these reports that makes sense, Here it is… from RT.com “Abdulmanap is in a bad condition, he’s in Moscow and in a coma, They didn’t treat him properly in Dagestan, and some complications arose. They flew him to Moscow, where he is now in a military hospital. He’s on his own there, they won’t allow family [to visit]”.
This sucks to the nth degree, I can speak to this because my father sat in a coma for two months before he died in January of this year, but the psychology behind not being able to visit and support from the bedside, that would have damn near killed my mom. So I can imagine how much this sucks for the Nurmagomedov family, but I assume Vladamir Putin has his people close by giving hourly updates. Prayers for the family.
