Aaron Rodgers Talks About Ayahuasca And How It’s Helped Him

Written by Tony Ghaul

Aaron Rodgers made his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show to discuss his plans for the upcoming offseason.

Rodgers said once he decides on his future, he may again drink ayahuasca. It’s a plant-based psychedelic he has talked about once before.

Rodgers told Men’s Health that he experienced “incredible things” during the multi-day “journey.” It three-night event he took part in last year, which saw him drink ayahuasca while under the guidance of a shaman.

Rodgers referred to himself as a “hippie” while speaking to McAfee. He said he started using “applied medicine” after experiencing injuries during his career.

According to the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, ayahuasca is drunk as a liquid and can affect a person’s thinking, sense of time, and emotions.

Rodgers has been a great QB, but he’s one of the weirdest athletes I have ever seen. He will make his own deodorant, because of the chemicals in it, but yet he will drink this concoction. I am not sure where he will play football next year, but brace yourself for his world of weird.
