Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown said that the team needs to re-sign QB Jalen Hurts or else.

Before their Super Bowl LVII loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said that Hurts didn’t have “anything to prove” when it came to a contract extension and the former second-round draft pick was “just what they’re looking for” in a franchise QB.

Brown had with 88 career receptions for 1,496 yards, while matching his career high in touchdowns with 11. He made Second-Team All-Pro for the first time in his four seasons and made his second Pro Bowl.

Hurts had a incredible season with a completion percentage of 66.5%, passing for 3,701 yards with 22 passing touchdowns and 6 interceptions for a quarterback rating of 101.5. He rushed for 13 touchdowns and earned Pro Bowl honors for the first time.

In Super Bowl LVII, Hurts went 27-for-38 for 304 passing yards, one touchdown, no interceptions and a 103.4 quarterback rating, adding a quarterback-record 70 rushing yards on 15 attempts and tied Terrell Davis’ Super Bowl record of three rushing touchdowns.
