Three people have been arrested in connection to the sad killing of a teenager right outside of the I Promise School which was created by NBA star LeBron James and his foundation in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

LeBron opened the school in 2018 and has been what some would consider a success and others a lack of success. Especially now with a death. Although this isn’t something the school can control, they’ll have to address this the best they can.

According to reports: Deshawn Stafford Jr., 20; Tyler Stafford, 19; and Donovon Jones, 21, were arrested at two different Akron residences on Saturday (June 11) in connection to the fatal beating of Ethan Liming, 17, earlier this month, the U.S. Marshals Service announced in a news release obtained by NBC News on Sunday (June 12).

Police are calling this a “senseless act of violence.” And they were at the time of him being arrested police were offering a $30,000 reward for information.

Below is an image of Ethan who was considered to be a rising senior at the school.
